Refund Policy

Ugna Social Work Foundation is instituting a donation refund policy to ensure fair and transparent processing of requests for refund of donations as digital payments are becoming more frequent.

Ugna Social Work Foundation expects that all donors will exercise due care and diligence while making donations.

Ugna Social Work Foundation will examine each request for a refund of donation and endeavour to make the refund. Ugna Social Work Foundation may also seek further information/documents and donors must co-operate in this regard.

However, Ugna Social Work Foundation is not obliged to make refunds and may, in its discretion, decline any requests for refund of donations, particularly if a tax exemption certificate has been issued. If you would like your donation to Ugna Social Work Foundation to be refunded:

You must request Ugna Social Work Foundation in writing or by email for a refund and your request must reach Ugna Social Work Foundation within 7 (Seven) working days from the date on which you made the ion online

The written request stating the reason for requesting the refund must be sent to the address stated below and must contain all the following details about the donation:

  • Date of Donation,

  • Donation amount,

  • Please provide the receipt ID and transaction reference number for donations made online.

 

The decision to refund will be made by the finance team on review of the application. All decisions of the Ugna Social Work Foundation in this regard will be final and binding on the donor.

 

The refund process may take time from 7 to 30 working days depending on the availability of the information from third parties such as Payment gateway, banks, etc. through which the transaction is done.
